We are delighted to announce that we have submitted a planning application for our latest new homes development Manston Gardens to Thanet District Council, and are eagerly awaiting their decision.
Formerly an Allotment site, two boundaries abut established residential areas, the third adjoins Manston Road and the final one joins onto open farmland designated for future development. The site sits on the edge of Manston, and forms part of the wider expansion of Manston as part of the approved Manston Green development which will eventually include 785 dwellings.
90 new homes will be located at Manston Gardens, which will feature a green corridor with access to an area of public gardens, forming a central community focal point for residents. With a mix of tenure, our new homes arm Westerhill Homes will be selling 63 of these signature style homes. A further 27 units will be affordable homes, which will be sold in partnership with a Housing Association.
This is the latest addition to the growing Chartway Group portfolio of developments across Kent, and we anticipate construction will commence in early 2023.
