Chartway Partnerships Group, a leading land-led housebuilder in South East England, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Nicholson as the new Head of IT. With over 20 years of experience in IT leadership roles, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to drive the company’s ongoing investment in improving IT security and infrastructure for the future.
In his new role, Jonathan will be responsible for leveraging technology to enhance operations and drive innovation across the group and subsidiary businesses to support the Chartway Partnerships Group’s vision to deliver new homes for everyone. With a passion for technology, Jonathan’s career in IT began 20 years ago and has progressed into leading IT departments for reputable organisations.
Prior to joining Chartway Partnerships Group, Jonathan served as the IT Operations Manager for a leading property consultancy in London. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of business technology and IT operational leadership. Jonathan successfully aligned technology with business needs, provided strategic guidance to senior stakeholders, and managed a multi-skilled team of analysts, developers, and project managers.
Before his above tenure, Jonathan held the position of Head of Technical Services for a global marketing and communications company, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the IT function from scratch and delivering technical strategies that aligned with the organization’s evolving business needs. His achievements encompassed transforming the IT department into a proactive service, reducing overall IT spend, scaling up the business globally, and driving digital transformation.
Additionally, Jonathan has a track record of success as an IT Manager for a Training provider, where he led the provision of business-critical IT support and services across multiple locations and oversaw infrastructure development.
