We have Apprentices working across the Group, studying Site Supervisor, Quantity Surveying, and Business Administration courses, attending MidKent College LSE Colleges at the Bromley Campus
Apprentices are mentored and fully supported by their line manager and other team members they are working with. They receive hands-on training on varying aspects of their role and are encouraged to build relationships across the Group to secure day placements to experience other functions of the Group businesses.
During their apprenticeship the Group develop each individual’s skills for life, with training on communications, presentation preparation, and attending and holding meetings under the tutorage of their Manager.
Chartway began taking Apprentices into the business 8 years ago as we see them as the next generation of managers. We feel it’s vital that young people are encouraged into the construction industry, we need their enthusiasm, knowledge and skills for future growth.
We are delighted to be supporting this year’s National Apprenticeship Week, which has a focus on lifetime skills, which aligns with our Group visions to deliver homes for everyone. and to develop our employees with training and support from the top down.
