Derek joins Chartway Civil Engineering, part of leading house builder and developer Chartway Partnerships Group, from O’Keefe Construction, where Derek was leading on the establishment of the Kent office and region. In this role, Derek was responsible for increasing profile and market share through the development of new relationships with contractors and developers.
Prior to O’Keefe, Derek headed up Ashford-based GSE Civil Engineering, the established business to increase growth to £18m per annum, achieved through the merger and acquisition activity and targeted business growth.
Based in the Chartway Civil Engineering Maidstone office and reporting to Commercial Director Peter Bromilow, Derek will be responsible for developing new relationships to support South East expansion plans for the firm to help support to Group vision of being the partner of choice to developers and contractors.
