A group of mature students from the Brompton Barracks Royal Military School of Engineering were given an all-access site tour by a construction company The students visited one of Chartway’s flagship developments, at Heron Fields in Sittingbourne, as part of their studies for a military construction engineering degree. The property and construction company ensured that the students were well looked after as they toured the site with the construction building director, Derek Potts, allowing them to view the set-up and the logistical challenges. Andy Shankster, managing director at Chartway Group said: “We are about community and it’s a real pleasure to welcome people training to contribute to our built environment, whether in a civil or military context.”
