Westerhill Homes are the Official Presenting Partner for Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade, a Wild in Art event supporting Heart of Kent Hospice, taking place this summer in and around Maidstone. A trail of Elmer sculptures will be in Maidstone from the 20th of June until the 23rd of August. It’s expected that thousands of visitors will follow the trail before the sculptures are auctioned off to raise funds for the Hospice.
The team at Westerhill Homes are planning a variety of events to promote awareness of the Parade which will see the head office and on site construction teams battling it out in an inter-departmental Table-Tennis Tournament and quiz, carwash events, cake-bakes and raffles, and entering teams of runners and intrepid colleagues into various running events organised by Heart of Kent Hospice.
‘Without exception, everyone at Westerhill Homes is hugely enthusiastic about getting involved and work with the Hospice team to promote the event. For us, the Hospice is a local charity, and vital to the community meant we had to say yes at the chance to support them and promote awareness to the general public of the fantastic work they do’ says Ian Savage, CEO of Westerhill Homes.
Westerhill has two large Elmer sculptures going into the final auction and recently chose the designs for both of them at a Design Selection event. They have also donated four baby Elmers to local schools that weren’t able to fund them themselves.
Westerhill Homes new homes developments in and around Maidstone will feature Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade logo on their marketing collateral, and web sites which they are sure will help raise the profile of this fantastic event.
